Bridesmaids Movie

Bridesmaids is an upcoming comedy movie directed by Paul Feig. The film is starring Kristen Wiig, Jon Hamm, Dianne Wiest, Matt Lucas, Ellie Kemper, and Jill Clayburgh. The release date of Bridesmaids is set for May 12, 2011.

Bridesmaids MoviePlot:
"The film centers on Annie (Kristen Wiig), a simple and single 30-something Midwestern girl (with poor dating track record) who is asked to be her best friend Lillian's (Maya Rudolph) maid of honor. However, having never done the job, she struggles to please the snobby, rich bridesmaids at every pre-wedding event. And one of Lillian's best friends is essentially the bridesmaid from hell (Rose Byrne) — who attempts to take over the maid of honor duties from the inexperienced Annie."

A few words from Actress Kristen Wiig who's got the lead role in the movie Bridesmaids:

"It's more of a story about friendship than a 'wedding movie'. There's a weird pressure in society, and in a lot of these kinds of movies, that says you need to be married. We were careful about avoiding that."
Actress Kristen Wiig

If Wiig tells us the truth then the movie Bridesmaids could be quite enjoyable: my wife won't have to drag me to watch that one, I'll be glad to go watch it!
